The first garden tour held on May 22 is a native plant demonstration garden accessed using the Woods and Field Trail, a 10-minute walk from the lower parking lot at Pandapas Pond. Our tour host was Barb Walker, who established the pollinator garden, along with several of the volunteers who help maintain the garden.
To visit on your own, see the trail map for the Woods and Field Trail: https://www.fs.usda.gov/…/recreation/bicycling/recarea/…
A list of the plants you can see at this garden is available here:
Future tours will showcase sustainable gardening and landscaping, including native plants, vegetable gardening, edible landscaping, sustainable practices, etc.
