Millstone Kitchen Community Collaborations

The Millstone Kitchen is a commercial kitchen facility in the newly renovated Old School at Prices Fork. Our name honors the history of millstone manufacturing in the Prices Fork community.

Our mission is to empower and support food entrepreneurs in launching their dream businesses.

  • Available for rent by the hour, our kitchen is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. Kitchen members can ready their product for sale or test new recipes.
  • Millstone Kitchen can also serve as a commissary space for local food trucks, offering prep area, storage space, and disposal services.
  • Millstone Kitchen offers members business support services and access to a supportive community of other entrepreneurs and professionals, who can assist with business plan development, marketing, food safety regulations, and sourcing ingredients.

Founded in 1995, SEEDS has a mission to inspire a natural curiosity and love for the environment in children and the young at heart through discovery learning, nature education, teacher support, and civic awareness. SEEDS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization.

16 Frogs

16 bronze frog statues are placed strategically through town and the surrounding area to call attention to the freshwater under and around the streets and buildings of downtown Blacksburg, and each of us has a story to tell as well!
